pRINCIPLES FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional Catholic School.  As principal of SEAS for the last 13 years, I am proud to share my faith, knowledge, and service with this vibrant school community.

Our school is home to children from four regional parishes: St. Barnabas in Bellmore, Cure’ of Ars in Merrick, St. Frances de Chantal in Wantagh, and St. Raphael in East Meadow, as well as students from neighboring parishes from Babylon to Freeport.  All are welcome to join the SEAS Family as we follow in Christ's footsteps.

Welcome Back to an Exciting 2017-2018 Year!

St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional Catholic School is a child-centered, faith-based school. At SEAS, we learn with Respect, Responsibility, and Reverence. We embrace our Catholic identity and new technologies.

This year, we invite you to embrace your faith while embracing the challenges and experiences of a new school year.   Image result for embrace clipart

Our teachers have been engaged in Professional Development opportunities throughout the summer to bring about new and innovative teaching methods and strategies.   We have purchased 120 chromebooks to be used in our Junior High classrooms, and we plan to begin utilizing iPads in the Fourth and Fifth Grade Classrooms.

As we journey into a new school year, The Diocese of Rockville Centre is embarking on a new self evaluation using the Advanced Ed Accreditation Process. This process is based on improving student learning through high quality standards and strategies. The self evaluation utilizes classroom observations and survey data to create a profile for our school community, as well as strategic goals for implementation. Please watch for these surveys and participate fully to help improve the educational process and be part of the solution!

We have worked to expand our school sports program, and we are now offering the violin option for our Kindergarten students who would like to participate in the school band program.  We encourage our students to become active and engaged members of our after school programs.

Please join together as TEAM SEAS for the journey

as we dive into a new school year together!

Ms. Leeann Graziose

Principal
