Lenten Food Drive !
In religion, we'll discuss Holy Week and the story of Easter! We'll prepare our Stations of the Cross books, work on a sacred art poster, and participate in Prayer Day on Wednesday. We'll attend our school prayer service, spend time with Jesus in Adoration, pray the Stations of the Cross, prepare a service project to feed the hungry, and attend Mass.
In ELA, we'll discuss what excites us about nature; we'll read and look for key details, main topic, and discuss details; we'll compare and contrast texts. We'll also practice and perform a play about animals in the rain forest.
We'll listen for short and long vowels sounds, r-controlled vowels, digraphs, blends, and dipthongs.

In math, we'll model and solve subtraction equations with regrouping. We explore place value to the hundreds place ! We'll model and solve word problems, and work on addition and subtraction fluency.
