This week, we will continue the I-Ready diagnostic in school.
There will be a D3 Day this Monday.
On Wednesday, we will have a Social Studies quiz on inventors and people who changed our communities.
We will have a Math Test on Friday as well as our Spelling, Vocabulary, and E.Q. Tests.
We will work on mastering our six times tables this coming week. Please make sure that your child continues to review their multiplication facts on a daily basis. Constant review will lead to constant success!

Please continue to utilize our digital library, Epic. There are over 40,000 children's books which can be accessed through this site and it is all for free! Please go to www.getepic.com and sign in using our class code nys0387. The children have already started using it in our classroom and love it! Please encourage them to use it at home as well.
All classwork and homework is posted daily in Google Classroom. Please log in each day to check on assignments and to view any class or school announcements. .
What's Happening in 3-2 This Week!
Religion
This week we will begin to learn about the years of Jesus adult life as He began His ministry as the Messiah on Earth, including His Baptism, temptation in the desert, and His miracles that prepared us for God's kingdom. We will continue to prepare our hearts for the season of Lent.
Math
This week we will learn how to multiply and divide by11 and 12, and have a test on these concepts as well as all of the concets covered in Chapter 8 on Friday. Please continue to have your child review their flashcards on a daily basis so as to meet with success.
Spelling
We will have a Spelling Test on Friday, utilizing the following words:1. taught , 2. hauls,
3. caused , 4. paused , 5. squwak , 6. drawing , 7.crawl , 8. flawless, 9. lawn , 10. salt,
11. talked , 12. halls, 13. water, 14. bought, 15. thoughtless
Vocabulary

Reading
This week our poems in this chapter will help us to answer our Essential Question "How can others inspire us?".
Grammar
The class will learn to use iregular verbs in sentences.
Science
We continue with our next chapter on climate change and begin learning about climates around the world.
Social Studies
This Wednesday we will have a quiz on inventors and people who brought change to our communities. Later in the week we will learn about early civilizations.

Please remember to pack a healthy snack and more than one water bottle each day.
Please sign all homework as well as their planner on a daily basis. Please remember to have your child log in their reading time each night in their planner. The weekly Spelling list will be recorded in their planner on Mondays.
Please check your child's Take Home Folder each day for homework and mail. All notes for the office or for me, need to be placed in this folder.
Please be sure to label ALL of your child's uniform apparel as well as any outerwear as well as any other item that is brought to school.
Please remember to follow all uniform guidelines. For the first two months of school, students will be allowed to wear their gym uniforms and sneakers on a daily basis.
