We will Reflect the love ofJesus together as we pray, work, and play with Respect, Responsibility, and Reverence!
This Week in 3-2!
*There will be a Bake Sale on Wednesday and all band lessons will begin this coming Friday, September 29.
**We will have a Math Test on Tuesday . We will also have our weekly Spelling Test on Thursday as well as our Vocabulary and Reading Test on Friday. Please utilize the time to study the Spelling and Vocabulary words over the weekend as well as each night. Also please make sure that your child reads the story "Gary the Dreamer" on Thursday night so as to be prepared for their Reading test on Friday.
**We will continue with our I-Ready Diagnostic this week.
***Please make sure that your child records their 20 minutes of reading each night in their planner. This is apart of the nightly homework assignment and counts towards the homework grade. Beginning this week, any child who does not record their reading on a daily basis will be issued an "oops" slip. Three "oops" slips will result in a Yellow light.
****Please remember that homework assignments can be found in your child's planner. All homework and planners need to be signed by a parent or guardian before the beginning of the next school day.
*****Don't forget to mark your calendars for this Thursday, October 5 for our Third Grade Mass which will take place at 9:00 in the upper church.
***Please remember to send in a water bottle as well as a snack each day. It is recommended that students bring a reusable water bottle with them so it can be easily refilled at our water stations.
Remember to check your child's Take Home Folder daily for homework and classroom correspondences.
