Respect, Responsibility,
& Reverence
Dear Nursery Parents, March 17, 2024
The month of March is blowing in like a "Lion" and hopefully, will go our like a "Lamb".
The weather is teaching us that wind can change our weather. Wind is a force that is able to move things. With that, we have constructed our kites and we are waiting for a windy day to fly them in our school yard.
We have completed our shape book and will be putiing our pages of shapes together to complete our book. The students have enjoyed learning about different shapes and have increased their vocabulary. We have made a connection between our geometry and vocabulary.
The students have been listening to stories of Jesus during our Lenten Season. They are learning about parts of his life and how he has helped people to heal. We continue to listen to stories from our Children's Bible. Our faith program coincides with some of the stories we are reading together. This is another way we can learn about the life of Jesus.
We continue to practice singing our Alphabet and identifying our letters. We are practicing our numbers 1-10 by tracing our numbers, and playing games with numbers.
This week, we will learn more about one another by telling each other about our favorite book. Each child will have a day assigned to them so that all will have time to tell and listen to some of our favorite books. We look forward to another great week of learning.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jane Cappiello
