Respect, Responsibility,
& Reverence
Hi! My name is Mrs. Sileo : )
This is my fourth year teaching Computer Technology at SEAS! I have really enjoyed getting to know everyone and becoming a source of all things Technology at SEAS! Some of the most exciting things that I have accomplished in my time here is planning and implementing the SEAS WiFi System which effectively supplies the school with 100% coverage of fast reliable WiFi Internet. I have also have implemented a 1:1 ratio for the Student Chromebook usage in Grades 3-8. I have also effectively implemented a Coding Curriculum for all grades and a Robotics Curriculum for Grades 4-8. Each year we participate in the DRVC STEM Fair in April, as well as, the DRVC Technology Day in October. Among many other exciting things, too many to mention here! Along with Technology at SEAS, I also manage all of SEAS social media and print media. I also co-host the Talent Show and am the Program Coordinator for the Mentors for Christ.
Some things about me are that I have always been a techie; thanks to my dad. I remember playing Invaders on a green screen computer when I was 5 years old, the first computer we had in the house. My interests grew over time and when I was 13 years old, I took a Photography Course at the Indianapolis Art League. Then I moved to New York at 15 years old, and I took a Graphics Art course at Pratt, now referred to as the New School. After that, I was hooked on everything new in the technology world. I went on to get my BA in Photography at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, followed a few years later by my MS in Art Ed from CW Post LI.
