I will be working with the first grade and middle school students this year as an AIS Teacher.  I am not a stranger to SEAS since I have been a substitute teacher for the past 15 years and one of the first grade teachers last year. In addition, my husband, Ed, of 27 years, and I volunteered for many events while our three children attended SEAS. I graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and a Professional Diploma as a Reading Specialist from St. John’s University. I hold Permanent New York State and New York City certification in Nursery through 6th Grade. Before taking time off to raise my children, I taught in the Brooklyn/Queens Diocese and the Island Park School District. I look forward to an exciting year working with your children.
