Respect, Responsibility,
& Reverence
**Just a friendly reminder that each week the Family Health Survey needs to be filled out by 5 PM on Sunday.**
Dear Parents,
Happy Wednesday!
Thank you for returning your bagel orders today. I am very excited to celebrate our first ever Rainbow Day!
Today we said hello to our new number of the week, 9!
Our poem for writing a nine is:
Draw a cricle
Add a line
And that's the way you make a nine.
Yesterday we made some shamrock decorations for the classroom. I gave the class blue and yellow paint, but they kept telling me shamrocks were green! We used some leprechaun magic and when we mixed the colors together, they made green! The boys and girls were so excited.
Today we learned about Saint Patrick. We learned that he went to Ireland and taught the people about God. He used a shamrock to teach the people about God. The three leaves are like God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Today we had Art with Mrs. Sileo. Ask the boys and girls what author they learned about to make their project.
Friday, March 5th, is Rainbow Day! Make sure you wear your color to school this day. If you forget what color your child chose, please email me.
Friday, March 12th, Scholastic Book Orders are due. Please submit your orders online.
**Our SEAS Lenten Food Drive is in full swing. Pre-K is asked to bring in bars of soap for this food drive. The last day to send in items is March 26th.**
Parents, just a reminder that if your child is absent from school, they need an absent note when they return to school. Thank you!
Have a great day,
Mrs. Woll
