Dear Families,
Happy Friday! We have had so much fun this week.
On Wednesday we learned about our new shape friend, Tommy Triangle. Here is our poem for drawing a triangle:
On Wednesday afternoon we did a fun rainbow craft with a pot of gold. We learned the term 3D for this project. We turned the flat strips of paper into a 3D rainbow! The boys and girls loved the craft and love how they look.
Today the Long Island Children's Museum visited Pre K and taught us about bubbles! There were 3 stations to visit. They made bubbles with bubbles wands, another station had items from around the house to make bubbles with, and the last station was making a bubble print craft! The boys and girls had so much fun learning from Ms. Courtney. Please check the photo gallery for pictures.
This afternoon we got to see a St. Patrick's Day parade hosted by the first grade. There was even someone playing the bagpipes! It was so cool.
Monday, March 18th will be our St. Patrick's Day party. If you were assigned to bring something in, please send it in by today.
