Respect, Responsibility,
& Reverence
Dear Families,
Happy Tuesday! We have done so many things in Pre-K these past few days.
On Thursday we learned about Groundhog Day. We read a story and learned that if the groundhog see his shadow it means 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow then early spring! We took a vote and 10 students predicted that the groundhog would see his shadow. 6 students said no shadow. We watched the video of the Long Island groundhogs, Holtsville Hal and Malverne Mel, and each groundhog saw something different. Now we have to wait to see who is right!
Friday the boys and girls did an excellent job going to mass. They sat and listened to the priest and they even received a blessing for the Feast of St. Blaise.
Monday we learned our new letter of the week, O. The boys and girls are doing a great job with this letter. We have some outstanding words on our word list this week.
We are still working on the circle this week.
Today we had gym with Mr. Larke. They had a great time doing all the different activities.
